Before I turned my sights on becoming a master of golf literature, I spent some time in the trenches of the restaurant industry, working back of the house in hot kitchens in Italy, Uruguay and back home in Denver.  It wasn’t always the most fun but I was able to walk away with some amazing stories, including the following.
