Cook Inlet, Alaska

I was fortunate enough to make it to Southern Alaska at the end of the August for a trip with some of my family – The last great gasp of a summer filled with more Fly Fishing than golfing, which would be a first for me.  From those weeks spent up in the Great North, I was able to come up with these two original pieces: One true story and a piece of fiction, both of them about 5oo words.

King’s Landing (Non-Fiction) – Add a Helicopter and everything is more fun.

The Iditarod Man (Fiction) – Cold, tired; He trudges on through the snow.
